This programme equips trainees with the skills, knowledge and attitude necessary to sell the products and services of the establishment. In class sessions, trainees are trained in the following areas:
Trainees in this course programme get to experience the actual hands-on practicals on individual competencies given to them. They practice for nine months at the centre and one month at a particular hotel/resort of their choice. Therefore, they need to be able to fulfill the establishment’s missions in a most efficient and effective manner. Trainees not only learn at the centre but are also taken out for educational trips country wide so they have a better idea of a particular module taught to them.
The front office is the main contact between guests and the hotel. All front office functions and activity areas are oriented towards supporting guest transactions and services. The trainees are engaged to the design and appearance of the front office, choice of equipment and furniture, and even design of various forms within the four stages of the guest cycle that guest are required to fill which are critical to the success of the establishment.
